The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has announced the programme of speakers for its annual Shaping the Future of Insurance conference taking place in October. This year’s event focuses on ‘trends, tech, and tempting talent’, providing an opportunity for attendees to engage with industry leaders, and gain insights on emerging trends.

The programme features Graeme Reynolds, Director of Competition at the Financial Conduct Authority, who will speak on regulation in a changing market, while Duncan Strachan and Sarah Crowther, Partners at DAC Beachcroft LLP, will explore trends and predictions for the insurance sector. This year’s schedule also features two panel sessions; ‘All Change – Mind the Skills Gap’, and ‘The Cost-of-Living Crisis and Claims Inflation’.

The event will be held at Etc. Venues in St. Pauls, London on 2 October, where Matthew Hill, CII Chief Executive, is set to deliver the welcome address, and the CII promises to deliver ‘a comprehensive overview of the evolving insurance landscape’. With over four hours of CPD, attendees can expect valuable networking opportunities, and actionable insights into technology, skills gaps, and generational shifts shaping the sector.

Matthew Hill, CII CEO, said

“I am delighted to announce the exceptional programme of speakers for this year’s Shaping the Future of Insurance conference. The conference will bring together professionals from across and beyond our sector to explore the evolving landscape of insurance, with a firm focus on trends, technology and talent. This event serves as a unique opportunity to share expertise, foster collaboration, and shape the future.”
