As the festive season approaches, we at Carpenters Group are reflecting on our ongoing commitment to giving back to the community.
Celebrating the 12 Days of Christmas, our team and business have gone above and beyond this year, dedicating time, effort, and resources to support various community projects and local charities.
On the first day of Christmas, Carpenters Group… raised £870 for Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, in partnership with I Love Claims. This wonderful charity supports families with children aged 0-18 years who have a life-threatening or terminal illness.
On the second day of Christmas, Carpenters Group… held a team Quiz Night, raising £1,500 for Aftermath – a local charity providing invaluable support to anyone affected by road traffic collisions in and around the Northwest of England.
On the third day of Christmas, Carpenters Group… team, including four-legged friends, participated in a sponsored walk-in aid of the Access to Justice Foundation. This fantastic organisation is dedicated to ensuring that everyone has access to justice, increasing funding for free legal advice, awarding grants, raising funds, and advocating for investment in legal advice across the UK.
On the fourth day of Christmas, Carpenters Group… volunteered their time to projects such as planting trees and plants in the gardens at Claire House Children’s Hospice. We are honoured to have contributed to the beautiful environment that brings comfort to families during some of the toughest times of their lives. SKY HIGH TEAM!
On the fifth day of Christmas, Carpenters Group… took on the challenge of abseiling down Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, raising £750 in support of Shelter Charity and The Choir with No Name, both of which work tirelessly to address homelessness across Merseyside.
On the sixth day of Christmas, Carpenters Group… 26-strong team battled cold, mud, and obstacles in aid of Cancer Research. Their determination and teamwork shone through as they took on this challenge to support such a vital cause.
On the seventh day of Christmas, Carpenters Group… proudly boosted our team’s fundraising efforts by match-funding up to £250 at a time. This year alone, we have match-funded an impressive £4,000 to date!
On the eighth day of Christmas, Carpenters Group… team took part in Cancer Research’s Neon Walk at night, lighting up the path in their glowing attire. They raised an incredible £500 for the charity.
On the ninth day of Christmas, Carpenters Group… proudly sponsored women and young people in sports, including Liverpool Feds, City of Liverpool FC Women, Port Vale FC Women and Neston Junior Cricket. helping these talented athletes pursue their dreams and promotes equality and opportunities in sports.
On the tenth day of Christmas, Carpenters Group… 10 runners running! Their dedicated energy help raise funds for LFC Foundation, Everton in the Community and Junior Park Run UK.
On the eleventh day of Christmas, Carpenters Group… Director/Owner Donna Scully, as part of The Sunday Breakfast Club team, has been supporting the homeless and those struggling with the cost-of-living crisis and experiencing food poverty in Merseyside. Together, they have served over 5,000 meals!
On the twelfth day of Christmas, Carpenters Group… team raised £13,000, which was topped up to £20,000 by Carpenters Group for Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice, to support the incredible work they do.
Our 12 Days of Christmas embodies the spirit of giving and community support. We are grateful for the opportunity to make a difference and look forward to continuing our charitable endeavours in the year ahead!
